P2P

According to Margomin, file sharing is "a sharing and transmitting of computer data in a network or internet with various access levels." The computer data that is shared can be movies, television shows, books, music, and so on. P2P file sharing is very similar. It stands for peer to peer file sharing. According to Margomin, "P2P file sharing is a peer to peer file sharing which allows individuals to access media files using software program that searches and locates computers that have the file that is wanted." A well known P2P file-sharing application is BitTorrent. Bram Cohen created BitTorrent because he was interested in the idea of file sharing. BitTorrent became one of the most successful P2P programs.
